Refund policy

QUERCUS RUBRA Private Limited (or "QRPL" or "RedOAK"), is the holding company of all properties under the registered trademark brands RedOAK and Red Oak Furniture. Policy stated below to be understood by users before ordering any items from the RedOAK website (www.redoak.in).
  • RedOAK reserves the right to cancel any order placed on the website or mobile app or through any other channel, with or without justification, or any kind of permission or approval from the customer.
  • RedOAK does not offer returns and refunds for the products supplied. Customers are required to read the terms of order, and all the specifications of products carefully before ordering. In case of any confusion about a product, customers are encouraged to contact the customer care and seek clarifications before ordering. Orders once deliverd cannot be returned, but can be considered in exceptional cases at the sole discretion of RedOAK. In such an exceptional situation of return, RedOAK does not guarantee a reverse pickup from the customers address, and will be attempted only on a best efforts basis. In case reverse pickup cannot be arranged by RedOAK, then the customer needs to ensure the return arrangement through a tier-1 courier service to RedOAK warehouse in properly packed condition in original box. Refund can be processed only after the product is returned back to RedOAK warehouse in proper condition, and damages may be deducted from the refund in case the product is damaged in reverse transit due to incorrect packing by customer, or due to returning the package through inappropriate modes of transport.
  • Ordering online on the basis of photographs and written specifications can be misleading. Orders placed without experiencing the actual physical furniture will be at customers risk, and RedOAK cannot take responsibility of mismatched expections. 
  • Furniture items are heavy and involves a lot of resources and costs. Customers are requested to be mindful about ordering online, and not assume that the two-way transportation costs have no social impact just because they are offered for free by online sellers.
  • Replacement of full item or the part (as applicable) will be provided if there is a manufacturing defect or transit damage in the delivered product.
  • In case of a transit damage or defect as stated above, customer is required to email RedOAK customer care and register a return request with photographs of the damage, within 24 hours of delivery of the package. Any request received after the cut-off will be considered as usage related damage and will not be approved for return and replacement. 
  • In case of genuine defects or major mismatch in specifications, RedOAK will provide appropriate remedy or resolution in terms of parts or fittings or repair wherever possible.
  • In case of any replacement of damaged parts, the customer has to return the damaged item first to our warehouse in proper packing and proper condition. Only after receipt of the returned part at our warehouse will a replacement be dispatched to the customers address.
  • Goods once delivered will not be taken back for any reason other than the one state above.
  • Goods cannot be returned due to reasons of color shade / polish / fabric / stitching / finish appearing different in photographs from actual product. Please note that photographs of the same subject can and will look different in different lighting conditions and screens. If a customer has any questions or doubts related to color/finish/texture, they are expected to seek clarifications before placing the order.
  • To avoid any misunderstanding or disputes and disappointment, customers who have a strict criteria for matching colors or finishes or textures with existing decor or other physical or non-physical reference, are recommended to not place an order online because the photographs may have deviations in color and finish due to reaons stated above. Such customers are requested to consider alternative sources of furniture where they can see and feel the physical products before ordering.
  • Goods cannot be returned due to reasons of dimensions being different from the ones mentioned on website, within 1-2 inch. Manufacturing processes may result in deviations of up to 1-2 inch in the dimensions, and is not to be considered a defect nor a reason for return. There may be slight discrepancies in specifications, including dimensions and errors of around 1-2 inch is within tolerance limits, and will not be considered as a reason for return. Customers who have a strict constraint of dimensions are requested to consider alternative sources of furniture where they can measure the physical products before ordering. Any mismatch in measurements will be resolved by RedOAK on a best-effort basis, but will not be considered for replacement or return.
  • If there is transit damage or defect in product, customer has to request for a replacement part or a return within 1 day of receipt of order.
  • Replacement of parts or full item will be subject to stock availability. If the part or item is not available in stock for replacement, then the customer will be offered refund.
  • In case of refunds, the refund will be process in 3-5 working days after the product is received back at the RedOAK warehouse.
  • In case of returns, the responsibility of returning the product damage-free to RedOAK warehouse lies with the customer. In case of any damage in reverse transit, there may be charges deducted from the customer towards repair.
  • If order is cancelled before dispatch, cancellation fee of 5% will be applicable and deducted from refund.
