Teak Wood

A hardwood valued for its durability, natural oils and resistance to moisture and environmental exposure.

What is Teak Wood?

Teak is a tropical hardwood widely used for furniture because of its natural oils, dimensional stability and resistance to moisture. It is particularly associated with outdoor furniture, although it is also used indoors.

Teak naturally ranges from golden brown to deeper brown tones and can develop a silver-grey appearance when exposed to outdoor conditions without regular finishing.

The quality of teak varies depending on species, origin, age and grading.

Why Does Teak Wood Matter?

Teak's natural durability makes it particularly suitable for outdoor furniture and applications where resistance to environmental conditions is important.
